PICOTEAM strengthens research leadership and management competencies of NARIs in East and Central Africa

PICOTEAM Ltd. has been contracted by the Association for Strengthening Agricultural Research in East and Central Africa (ASARECA) to implement a project (SCARDA) which aims to strengthen the institutional and human capacity of African agricultural research and development systems to be able to deliver effectively on their mandates – i.e. to generate research outputs that meet the needs of poor people. PICO is facilitating leadership and management competence development processes, including the development of mentorship in three focal institutions, i.e. Agricultural Research Corporation (ARC) in Sudan, Institut des Sciences Agronomiques du Burundi (ISABU) and Institut des Sciences Agronomiques du Rwanda (ISAR).
